Bhubaneswar, April 19 -- A devotee levelled serious allegations against priests at PuriSrimandir in Odisha, claiming she was not allowed to have a peaceful darshan and was repeatedly asked for money for various religious activities.

The allegations surfaced through a video shared on social media, where the devotee described her experience during a visit to the Puri temple.

According to the devotee, she was asked to pay money at multiple stages during her visit, including for entry, offering flowers, and aarti. She alleged that priests approached her repeatedly inside the temple and demanded money for each activity.

She further alleged that priests snatched money from her and reacted negatively when she refused to pay.
