Bhubaneswar, Nov. 4 -- An unidentified young man's half- charred body part was recovered near Kelucharan Park in Bhubaneswar, under the Mancheswar police station limits, on Wednesday.

The body was found in a decomposed condition, raising suspicions of murder and an attempt to destroy evidence by burying it.

Following the discovery, police personnel from Mancheswar Police Station and a scientific team reached the spot and launched an investigation. Personnel from Chandrasekharpur Police Station also visited the area.
