Haldiram's Rs 1,000 crore project in Odisha; state clears 1st phase investment of Rs 500 Cr
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 26 -- Haldiram's Snacks proposed to invest Rs 1,000 crore in setting up a new manufacturing facility in Odisha. The plant, focused on savoury snacks and baked products, will be developed in three phases. The state government has already cleared the first phase investment of Rs 500 crore.
The exact location is yet to be finalised, though the proposed facility is expected to come up in the Khordha-Cuttack region. An executive said that the unit is likely to become one of Eastern India's largest manufacturing facilities for snacks and baked products, as reported by Business Standard.
