Bhubaneswar, March 20 -- Odisha is set to play a significant role in the Centre's ambitious Gyan Bharatam Mission, a flagship initiative aimed at preserving and digitising India's vast manuscript heritage. Launched under the Ministry of Culture following the Union Budget 2025-26 announcement, the mission focuses on surveying, documenting, conserving and digitising manuscripts, while building a strong digital and research ecosystem across the country.
