Bhubaneswar, April 30 -- The special session of the OdishaLegislative Assembly on Thursday saw a sharp exchange between the ruling party and the Opposition, with Chief Minister Mohan Majhi defending his stance on women's reservation and slamming the Opposition's 'negative remarks'.
In his address during the session, the Chief Minister asserted that granting reservation to women in legislative bodies does not take away the reservation rights of others. "Granting reservation to women does not affect the reservation rights of others," Majhi stated, responding to the criticisms raised by the Opposition.
