Bhubaneswar, April 16 -- In a major breakthrough, Cuttack Rural Police on Wednesday arrested two notorious criminals along with eight receivers involved in a series of loot cases. Stolen gold ornaments worth over Rs 1.40 crore have been recovered from their possession.

Police also seized silver ornaments worth Rs 8 lakh and cash amounting to Rs 61,600. Additionally, two luxury cars, two walkie-talkies, and several tools used for committing theft were recovered during the operation.
