Bhubaneswar, Feb. 24 -- Gold prices hovered close to the Rs 1.62 lakh mark across major Indian cities on February 24, while silver traded around Rs 3 lakh per kilogram, with minor variations between markets.
Chennai recorded the highest gold price among the listed cities, while Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kerala and Pune shared the same rate.
Bhubaneswar's gold price stood marginally lower than Delhi and Ahmedabad but higher than several other metros.
