Bhubaneswar, March 30 -- A female MBA student was found hanging in a hostel room in Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar, on Monday. The incident sparked an investigation, with police yet to ascertain the exact cause of her death.

As per reports, she was pursuing her studies at a management college in Chandrasekharpur and hailed from Dhenkanal.

Infocity police reached the spot following the incident and initiated an inquiry. A case of unnatural death (UD) was registered in connection with the matter.

Police seized the body and sent it for post-mortem examination to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar. Officials also collected her personal gadgets, including her mobile phone and laptop, as part of the investigation.
