India, Aug. 22 -- India head coach Gautam Gambhir has backed captain Shubman Gill's handling of Kuldeep Yadav, making it clear that the decision on how much the spinner bowls rests with the skipper and the demands of the match.

Gambhir's comments came ahead of India's second Test against Sri Lanka at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo, with India leading the two-match series 1-0 after a 165-run victory in Galle.
