Bhubaneswar, Sept. 26 -- Continuous rain disrupted road connectivity in parts of Ganjam on Saturday. Around four feet of floodwater was seen flowing over a bridge on the main road connecting Badarampalli and Bilaspur in Khallikote block.

The flooding has affected movement in several low-lying areas, while residents of six villages that depend on the road are facing difficulties.

The situation has worsened in Khallikote following two days of continuous rain accompanied by strong winds. Several low-lying areas of the block have been inundated.
