Bhubaneswar, June 3 -- In a decisive administrative action, the Ganjam Superintendent of Police (SP) Harisha B C on Wednesday ordered the transfer of 27 police personnel, including two Sub-Inspectors (SI) and three Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASI) from Kabisuryanagar Police Station, in connection with a high-profile custodial violence case that led to the death of a differently-abled man, Subash Sahu.

Acting on the direction of the Southern Range Inspector General (IG) Niti Shekhar, all personnel posted in the concerned jurisdiction were transferred.
