Bhubaneswar, Sept. 6 -- With Ganesh Puja just a few days away, preparations for the festival gathered pace in Khordha's Jatni, which is known for its grand celebrations of the occasion.

The town also holds a special place for its idol-making tradition, with artisans beginning work on Ganesh idols nearly three months ahead of the festival.

The final stage of the process is now underway as artisans focus on adding finishing touches to the idols.
