Bhubaneswar, July 7 -- Even as Odisha continues to deal with the impact of the recent low-pressure system, another weather disturbance is likely to develop over the Bay of Bengal, raising the possibility of fresh heavy rainfall across the state.

According to predictions from various weather models, Odisha may witness intense rainfall between July 12 and July 15 due to the formation of a new low-pressure area over the northwestern part of the Bay of Bengal. The system is expected to bring widespread rainfall, with July 14 likely to record the highest intensity of rain.
