Four labourers critically burnt in Nayagarh plant fire, shifted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar, Sept. 3 -- Four labourers suffered severe burn injuries after a sudden fire broke out at an under-construction plant in Gateri under Nuagaon police limits in Odisha's Nayagarh district on Wednesday evening. The incident took place around 5-6 pm when the workers were about to begin their shift.
The fire reportedly broke out without any warning, leaving the four workers badly injured. They were rushed to Nayagarh District Headquarters Hospital, where doctors treated them for extensive burns before referring them to AIIMSBhubaneswar.
The injured have been identified as Dilip Nayak, Sarat Sahu, Bibhuti Pradhan and Braja Kishore Pradhan. Doctors said more than 50 per cent of their bodies had been burnt.
