India, July 18 -- Four persons have been arrested at Bhanjanagar in Odisha's Ganjam district for allegedly threatening police personnel by displaying a pistol during a vehicle checking drive on Saturday.

The incident took place near Chakara Bisoyi square when police officials were conducting routine vehicle inspections in the area.

According to reports, the accused allegedly confronted the police team and showed a pistol while threatening to attack them. Following the incident, police managed to apprehend the youth who allegedly brandished the firearm along with three of his associates.
