India, Sept. 16 -- Former Berhampur MLA Bikram Panda was reportedly booked in another case following an allegation that a witness was threatened over the phone. According to the complaint, the alleged call was previously made from jail using a doctor's phone, police sources said on Wednesday.

A fresh case has been registered at Gosani Nuagaon police station after a complaint was lodged in connection with the alleged incident. The complaint states that BJD leader Panda contacted and threatened a witness while he was in jail.
