Bhubaneswar, Nov. 3 -- Serious allegations have been levelled against former BJD MLA from Udala, Srinath Soren, following an alleged assault on a young man in broad daylight in the middle of a road on Monday.

According to reports, the incident took place at Brundagadi Chhak under Udala police station limits in Mayurbhanj district.

Reportedly, an argument broke out between Srinath Soren and Debashish Hansda, a resident of the Bharadadihi area, while they were travelling in a car towards Udala. Following the altercation, Srinath allegedly launched an attack on Debashish.
