Bhubaneswar, Sept. 3 -- Food safety officials on Tuesday conducted inspections at around 20 food outlets across Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, including popular chains such as KFC and Burger King, ahead of the festive season.

According to a report by The New Indian Express, the inspections covered areas including Surya Nagar, Jagamara, Jayadev Vihar, Nayapalli, Kalinga Nagar and Patia. City Food Safety Officer Satyajit Patel said around 10 show-cause notices were issued during the crackdown. He also stated that 60 kg of food found unfit for consumption was destroyed.
