Bhubaneswar, Sept. 26 -- The flood situation across Odisha worsened on Saturday, with several rivers flowing above their danger marks. Large parts of the state are inundated, with floodwaters affecting areas from southern to northern Odisha.

In Balasore, the water levels of the Budhabalanga, Jalaka and Subarnarekha rivers have risen above the danger marks. The rising water has affected Balasore Sadar, Remuna, Basta, Baliapal, Jaleswar and Bhograi blocks.

In Bhadrak, the Baitarani and Salandi rivers were seen flowing above their respective danger marks. The rising floodwaters have added to the situation in the district.
