Bhubaneswar, Aug. 8 -- 24 districts in Odisha have been affected in the recent flood situation. The state is again bracing up for possible heavy rainfall in the coming days. As more than 200 mm of rain is likely in some areas, all District Collectors have been asked to remain alert and submit detailed reports on the damage, informed Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari on Friday after reviewing the flood situation and damage.

According to Pujari, the government closely monitored the situation and directed the administration to remain fully prepared in view of the possibility of further rainfall.
