Five Odisha minor girls rescued from Hyderabad in alleged human trafficking case
Bhubaneswar, Aug. 27 -- In yet another alleged case of human trafficking, five minor Odia girls were recently rescued from Hyderabad and the culprit was arrested following a police operation based on mobile phone tracking.
According to reports, Raj Kumar, a resident of the Adava area of Odisha's Gajapati district, allegedly lured the minor girls with promises of jobs. He reportedly took them to Hyderabad, where they were allegedly sold.
The girls were traced after police began tracking mobile phone numbers linked to the case. Acting on the information gathered during the tracking, police teams reportedly located the five minor girls in Hyderabad and rescued them.
Police have arrested Raj Kumar, who is allegedly the culprit in the case....
