Bhubaneswar, March 6 -- At least five persons lost their lives in separate accidents reported from different parts of Odisha, including Dhenkanal, Puri and Nayagarh districts on Friday.

The incidents involved a truck crashing into a house, a collision between a Hyva truck and a motorcycle, and a motorcycle hitting a roadside tree.

One person died after a truck rammed into a house at Hatibari village under Gandia police station in Odisha's Dhenkanal district on Thursday night.

According to information, an eighteen-wheeler truck first collided with a tractor late at night and then crashed into a nearby house. The vehicle broke through the wall of the house and entered the structure.
