Firing at Binika block chairperson's residence in Sonepur; 25-30 rounds fired by masked miscreants
Bhubaneswar, June 20 -- Unidentified miscreants allegedly opened fire at the residence of Binika Block Chairperson Diptirekha Nanda and her husband, former Binika Block Chairman and district BJD youth president Ashok Nanda, in Singhiyuba village under Binika police limits of Odisha's Sonepur district late on Friday night. The incident reportedly took place between 11 pm and 11:30 pm, when four to five masked men allegedly arrived in an SUV at the house and opened fire before fleeing the spot.
