Bhubaneswar, June 14 -- A massive fire broke out on Sunday morning at Dharmakruti village under the Brahmagiri block in Puri district, destroying a ten-roomed housing structure. The blaze rapidly spread through the compound, completely engulfing 10 houses belonging to five local families.

Although the flames were eventually extinguished through a joint effort by local villagers and emergency responders, all household belongings kept inside the premises were reduced to ashes, reportedly.
