Bhubaneswar, Aug. 5 -- The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has cautioned the public against fake appointment letters purportedly issued for recruitment to the Jagannath Temple Squad, after forged documents began circulating on social media.

The fraudulent appointment letters falsely claim that candidates have been recruited to the Jagannath Temple Squad under the Odisha Home Department. The documents also bear a forged stamp of the Shree Jagannath Temple Office and a fake signature purportedly of SJTA Chief Administrator Dr Arabinda Padhee, giving the impression that the appointments were officially approved.
