Bhubaneswar, Feb. 22 -- Several All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) campuses including in Odisha's Bhubaneswar are grappling with significant faculty shortages, with some institutions reporting that six out of every ten teaching posts remain vacant.

While staffing gaps persist across multiple centres, the shortfall is particularly acute in some of the newer campuses.

According to information shared by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Ministry in the Lok Sabha, AIIMS Bhubaneswar in Odisha reports 29.4 per cent vacancy.
