Bhubaneswar, April 25 -- The Press Information Bureau's (PIB) Fact Check unit has debunked claims circulating on social media that an Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft crashed in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to PIB Fact Check, the viral video being shared online with the claim of an IAF crash is fake and misleading. Officials clarified that no such incident has taken place, urging the public to remain cautious while consuming and sharing information on digital platforms.

"Several social media posts have shared a video claiming that an Indian Air Force aircraft crashed in Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir. This claim is fake," PIB Fact Check stated in an official communication.
