Bhubaneswar, May 1 -- Allegations surfaced from Khaladi village under Udala police limits in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district that an expired ear drop medicine was given to treat a fungal skin condition.
The incident came to light on Friday after the patient and his family raised concerns over the nature and validity of the medicine supplied.
According to information, Lawrence Khandei, a resident of the village, had developed wounds due to persistent itching and visited Udala Medical for treatment. After collecting the prescribed medicines, he returned home. However, upon checking the medication, he found that it had expired in 2025.
