Bhubaneswar, Sept. 5 -- East Coast Railway (ECoR) has introduced Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches on the Puri-Patna-Puri Express. The upgraded coach composition will be coming into effect from September 5, 2026. The move is aimed at providing passengers with a more modern travel experience on the route.

The LHB coaches will be introduced on Train Nos. 18405/18406, operating between Puri and Patna Junction.

As per the revised composition, the train will have one luggage-cum-generator-cum-brake van, one luggage-cum-Divyang-friendly coach, four general coaches, eight sleeper coaches, three 3rd AC coaches and one 2nd AC coach.
