India, Sept. 18 -- The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced the temporary augmentation of coaches in five trains to accommodate the extra passenger rush and provide additional seating capacity on specified dates.

According to ECoR, one additional coach will be attached to each of the selected trains as part of the temporary arrangement.

The 12837 Howrah-Puri Express will have one additional sleeper coach from September 20 to 25. The 18039 Shalimar-Puri Express will also get one extra sleeper coach on September 20.

The 18045 Shalimar-Charlapalli Express will have one additional 3rd AC coach from September 19 to 25. Similarly, one extra 3rd AC coach will be attached to the 18063 Santragachi-Yelahanka Express on September 24.
