Bhubaneswar, Sept. 3 -- A drunk youth allegedly entered a primary school in Odisha's Deogarh and assaulted a teacher after allegedly misbehaving with a minor girl student on Wednesday. The incident reportedly triggered panic among students on the school premises.

The incident took place after the lunch break, when classes had just resumed. The youth allegedly entered the school premises in a drunken state and misbehaved with one of the students.

Following the incident, Deogarh police reached the school and detained the youth for questioning. The school authorities and villagers later went to Deogarh police station and lodged a written complaint.
