Bhubaneswar, April 29 -- In a concerning development from Odisha's Kendrapada district, villagers of Giribandha under Aul block are facing a severe water shortage. There has been a growing concern over the lack of regular access to drinking water, and the villagers blamed the water pump operator for not supplying water on time.
In response, several women on Wednesday met the Additional District Magistrate and Aul Block Development Officer demanding a regular water supply.
Following complaints from women, the Sarpanch and the Panchayat Executive Officer were instructed to resolve the issue immediately. The BDO assured that efforts would be made to address the problem as soon as possible.
