Bhubaneswar, April 22 -- A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable saved the life of a passenger who slipped while attempting to board a moving train in Odisha's Berhampur railway station. The incident took place on April 20, between 9:00 and 9:30 p.m. at Platform No. 1, where the constable was on duty.
The passenger, who had boarded the Rajyarani Express from Rourkela and was travelling to Bhubaneswar, had briefly got down at the station to purchase a water bottle. While trying to re-board the moving train, he lost his balance and fell towards the tracks, risking being dragged under the train.
