Bhubaneswar, May 15 -- A dispute over house renovation work escalated into a fatalincident on Thursday night in Baradanga Nauri Sahi under Mahakalapada police limits in Kendrapara, where a man was allegedly beaten and strangled to death following a violent clash within a family.

The deceased has been identified as Golak, while his elder brother Abhay has been named as the main accused in the case.

According to reports, the incident began when Golak started renovation work at their family house. Abhay objected to the construction work, following which a heated argument broke out between the two brothers.
