Bhubaneswar, May 10 -- The International Society for Krishna Consciousness once again came under criticism over the organisation of an untimely Snana Yatra of Lord Jagannath in London on Sunday. The incident triggered strong reactions among Jagannath devotees and scholars associated with Jagannath culture.
According to reports, ISKCON organised the Snana Yatra at the Bhaktivedanta Manor temple in Watford near London. As per Indian time, the ritual was scheduled to begin at around 1.45 pm.
The organisation also informed through its website and social media platforms that the Hati Besha ritual would be conducted following the Snana Yatra of the Chaturdha Murti.
