Bhubaneswar, April 30 -- Police on Thursday arrested three education officials, including a District Education Officer and a Block Education Officer, in connection with an alleged sexual harassment case involving a woman CRCC under Bargarh Town police limits in Odisha.
The accused have been identified as District Education Officer Jyoti Kanta Sahu, Bargarh Block Education Officer Surendra Sahu, and Sameer Panigrahi, a PET teacher of Satlama School. All three were taken into custody by Bargarh police following allegations of misconduct.
According to the complaint, the accused had allegedly subjected a woman teacher, who is also a Cluster Resource Centre Coordinator (CRCC), to sexual harassment.
