Bhubaneswar, Oct. 14 -- Dense fog covered the Champua region in Odisha's Keonjhar in the early hours of Wednesday. The fog reduced visibility to less than 20 metres on National Highway 520 and disrupted traffic. The sudden drop in visibility also offered an early indication of changing weather conditions as winter approaches in Odisha.

Motorists faced difficulties navigating the highway, as truck, bus and car drivers forced to switch on their headlights and proceed cautiously. The thick fog made it difficult to see vehicles and the road ahead, raising concerns over the risk of accidents.
