Delimitation Bill: Naveen Patnaik calls for special Assembly session within 48 hours
Bhubaneswar, April 15 -- BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik voiced strong concerns over the proposed Delimitation Bill, urging the state's political rights to remain intact. In a formal letter addressed to the CM Mohan Majhi on Wednesday, Patnaik emphasized that any reduction in political rights would undermine the aspirations of Odisha and its people.
He appealed to the Chief Minister to take immediate action, stressing the importance of preserving the state's political influence in the national legislature.
