Bhubaneswar, March 31 -- In a tense mid-air situation that was safely brought under control, a Delhi-bound Air India Express flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport following a smoke alert onboard. The incident adds to a growing list of recent aviation concerns involving the airline, raising fresh questions around in-flight safety protocols.
The Airbus A320 aircraft, operating from Bagdogra to Delhi, had 148 individuals, including six crew members.
