Bhubaneswar, June 21 -- The prolonged delay in the expansion of Rangeilunda Airport near Berhampur has triggered growing public dissatisfaction, with residents demanding the immediate resumption of flight services. Although work on the airport upgrade began nearly three years ago, the project remains incomplete, leaving South Odisha without a crucial air link.

Rangeilunda airstrip, located in Ganjam district, serves as an important transportation hub for people travelling for education, healthcare and business purposes.
