Bhubaneswar, Sept. 25 -- The deep depression has weakened into a depression while moving in a north-northwesterly direction. The system is currently moving at a speed of 15 kmph.

The depression is located approximately 90 km from Nuapada and Titlagarh and around 100 km northwest of Bhawanipatna.

The weather system is expected to weaken further in the coming hours. It is likely to turn into a low-pressure area within the next 12 hours.

The system's movement towards the north-northwest has resulted in its gradual weakening from a deep depression into a depression.
