Bhubaneswar, Aug. 10 -- A biker died after being allegedly hit by a speeding bus on Aiginia flyover in Bhubaneswar on Monday. As per eye witnesses, the passenger vehicle that hit the biker and fled the scene was an OSRTC bus.

Following the incident, tension prevailed at the spot after the death of the biker. As per initial reports, the locals blocked the National Highway and staged a road blockade on NH-16, demanding action.

Hundreds of vehicles are stranded on both sides of the highway due to the blockade.
