Bhubaneswar, Nov. 1 -- Odisha is likely to experience rain and thunderstorms over the next few days as Cyclonic Storm Murasu moves towards the south Andhra Pradesh coast. Although the system is not expected to have a direct impact on the state, its effects may be felt in southern Odisha as five districts are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall on November 3 and 4.

The Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms and rain in 16 districts across northern and southern Odisha for Sunday. A slight change in weather conditions is expected from today.
