Bhubaneswar, Oct. 27 -- All government, government-aided, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas and privately managed schools in Khordha district will remain closed from 1 PM on October 27 to October 28 in view of the forecast of very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall due to Cyclone Arnab.

The District Project Office, Samagra Shiksha, Khordha, issued an order today, following the directions of the Collector-cum-District Magistrate, Khordha. The closure will cover schools from Sishu Vatika to Class XII.

According to the order, schools will remain open until 1 PM on October 27, after serving the Mid-Day Meal (MDM) to students.
