Bhubaneswar, Nov. 4 -- Cuttack's historic Bali Jatra will be organised as a plastic-free event this year, with preparations underway to make the annual fair more environment-friendly and internationally appealing. The week-long fair will be held from November 24 to December 1.

The state government has proposed a grant of Rs 10 crore for organising the mega event. The preparations and arrangements for the fair were discussed at a high-level review meeting chaired by Culture Minister Suryabanshi Suraj on Tuesday.
