Bhubaneswar, March 2 -- Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister Pravati Parida on Sunday announced that a cruise terminal worth around Rs 1,000 crore will be constructed in Puri.
Parida further said that a city will be developed over 1,500 acres in the Sipasarubali area of Puri district to boost tourism-led urban growth.
The Minister made the announcements during the 40th foundation day celebration of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Odisha in Puri.
The proposed cruise terminal is expected to significantly enhance Odisha's coastal tourism potential by attracting domestic as well as international cruise liners.
