Bhubaneswar, Oct. 21 -- A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan from Odisha's Balasore district has gone missing while travelling home on leave. His family has been unable to contact him since he informed them of his arrival at Kharagpur railway station in West Bengal.

The missing jawan, Padmalochan Patra, is a resident of Bolang village under Singla police station limits. The CRPF havildar had taken leave following the death of his father on the 11th of this month to attend the post-death rituals.
