Bhubaneswar, May 11 -- The Crime Branch has intensified its investigation into the sensational Balianta mob lynching case and carried out extensive inquiries on the very first day of the probe.

As per reports, a special team on Sunday, visited the Balianta police station, the crime spot, the residence of deceased youth Soumya Ranjan Swain, as well as the houses of Om Prakash and the victim women linked to the incident to gather crucial evidence and statements.
