Bhubaneswar, March 28 -- The Government of India has intensified its crackdown on fertilizer hoarding, diversion, and black marketing, cancelling or suspending over 6,900 licenses and conducting more than 4.66 lakh raids since April 2025 to safeguard farmers' interests. The enforcement drive, backed by strict legal provisions, reflects the Centre's continued focus on ensuring fair access to fertilizers and preventing exploitation in the agricultural supply chain.
