Bhubaneswar, March 26 -- The Higher Education Department has annCPETounced that the Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPET)-2026 for admission into postgraduate programmes across the state will be conducted from May 5 to May 18.
According to official data, as many as 58,708 aspirants have registered for 31,915 seats available in various universities and colleges for the 2026-27 academic session, indicating stiff competition among candidates seeking higher studies.
The application process was carried out through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal between February 27 and March 22. Officials confirmed that the State Selection Board (SSB) will oversee the conduct of the examination.
